Trail Closure for Repaving, 8th Street Trailhead

To help improve the reliability of the electric system in the Met-Ed service area, Mid-Atlantic Interstate Transmission has rebuilt a high-voltage power line that runs alongside the Lebanon Valley Rail Trail.
As part of this project, a nearly four-mile section of the rail trail is scheduled to be closed to the public from April 24 to May 5 as it is repaved. The Eighth Street trail entrance south to the Lebanon Valley Expo entrance, and all entrances in between, will be closed. Inclement weather could impact the repaving schedule and lengthen the closure period.
